Amish Chicken

Amish Chicken is a comforting, flavorful dish that’s known for its simplicity and hearty appeal. This baked chicken recipe creates juicy, tender meat with a perfectly seasoned, creamy sauce that soaks into every bite.

Equipment

  • Baking dish (9x13 inches recommended)
  • Mixing bowls
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Whisk or spoon for mixing
  • Tongs or a fork

Ingredients
  

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts (about 2 lbs)
  • 1 can 10.5 oz cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 4 tbsp butter melted
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 tsp paprika optional, for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • In a bowl, whisk together the cream of chicken soup, milk, melted butter, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Place chicken breasts in the baking dish and pour the sauce evenly over them.
  • Sprinkle with paprika if desired, and cover the dish with foil.
  • Bake for 45–55 minutes, until chicken is cooked through and tender.
  • Let rest for a few minutes, then serve with rice, mashed potatoes, or crusty bread.
