Amish Chicken is a comforting, flavorful dish that’s known for its simplicity and hearty appeal. This baked chicken recipe creates juicy, tender meat with a perfectly seasoned, creamy sauce that soaks into every bite.
Baking dish (9x13 inches recommended)

- 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts (about 2 lbs)
- 1 can 10.5 oz cream of chicken soup
- 1/2 cup milk
- 4 tbsp butter melted
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 tsp paprika optional, for garnish
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
In a bowl, whisk together the cream of chicken soup, milk, melted butter, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
Place chicken breasts in the baking dish and pour the sauce evenly over them.
Sprinkle with paprika if desired, and cover the dish with foil.
Bake for 45–55 minutes, until chicken is cooked through and tender.
Let rest for a few minutes, then serve with rice, mashed potatoes, or crusty bread.
