Equipment

  • Baking dish (9x13 inch)
  • Mixing bowl
  • Whisk
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Knife and cutting board
  • Aluminum foil (for covering, if needed)

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tsp dried Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Fresh parsley chopped, for garnish

Instructions

  • Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • Arrange Chicken: Place the chicken breasts in the prepared baking dish.
  • Mix Sauce: In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Gradually whisk in the chicken broth until smooth.
  • Pour and Spread: Pour the cream cheese sauce over the chicken breasts, spreading it evenly. Top with shredded mozzarella.
  • Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is fully cooked. If needed, cover loosely with foil to prevent over-browning.
  • Garnish: Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before garnishing with fresh parsley and serving.
