Chicken and Broccoli Stir Fry

This Chicken and Broccoli Stir Fry is a fast, flavorful meal packed with lean protein and crisp vegetables.

Equipment

  • Large skillet or wok
  • Cutting board and knife
  • Mixing bowls
  • Spatula or wooden spoon

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb boneless skinless chicken breast, thinly sliced
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp ginger minced
  • 2 tbsp vegetable or sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Toss the sliced chicken with cornstarch, salt, and pepper.
  • Mix soy sauce, chicken broth, oyster sauce, sugar, and cornstarch in a small bowl.
  • Heat oil in a skillet, cook chicken until browned, and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, stir-fry broccoli until bright green. Add garlic and ginger.
  • Return chicken to the skillet and add the sauce, stirring until thickened.
  • Serve hot over rice or noodles.
