Chicken with Buttered Noodles
Chicken with Buttered Noodles is the perfect balance of tender, seasoned chicken paired with buttery noodles that are lightly flavored with garlic and herbs.
Large skillet or sauté pan
Large pot for boiling noodles
Tongs or spatula

- Chicken:
- 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts or thighs
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp butter divided
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- Buttered Noodles:
- 8 oz egg noodles
- 3 tbsp butter
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley chopped
- Grated Parmesan cheese optional
Bring a pot of salted water to a boil, cook egg noodles, and drain.
Season chicken with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
Heat olive oil and 1 tbsp butter in a skillet. Sear chicken for 5–7 minutes per side until golden and cooked through.
Remove chicken, add remaining butter and garlic to the skillet, and sauté.
Toss noodles in garlic butter. Season with salt and pepper.
Slice chicken, serve over noodles with parsley and Parmesan.
