  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt to taste
  • For the Honey Lemon Pepper Glaze:
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 1 tsp lemon pepper seasoning

Equipment

  • Large mixing bowl
  • Baking sheet or air fryer
  • Parchment paper or aluminum foil
  • Saucepan
  • Tongs

Method

  1. Prepare the Wings:
  2. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) or set your air fryer to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.
  3. Season the Wings:
  4. In a large mixing bowl, toss the chicken wings with olive oil, lemon pepper seasoning, garlic powder, paprika, and a pinch of salt until evenly coated.
  5. Bake or Air Fry:
  6. For Baking: Arrange the wings on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer. Bake for 40–45 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden brown and crispy.
  7. For Air Frying: Place the wings in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 25–30 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
  8. Make the Glaze:
  9. While the wings cook, prepare the honey lemon pepper glaze. In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the butter. Stir in honey, lemon juice, lemon zest, and lemon pepper seasoning. Simmer for 1–2 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat.
  10. Glaze the Wings:
  11. Once the wings are cooked and crispy, transfer them to a large mixing bowl. Pour the warm glaze over the wings and toss gently until coated.
