Equipment

  • Baking dish or sheet pan
  • Large mixing bowl
  • Measuring cups and spoons

Ingredients
  

  • 4 large russet or Yukon Gold potatoes cut into cubes
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley or green onions for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Wash, peel (if desired), and cube the potatoes.
  • In a large bowl, toss the potato cubes with melted butter, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  • Spread the potatoes evenly on a baking dish or sheet pan.
  • Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until crispy and golden.
  • Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the top and bake for an additional 5-7 minutes, until the cheese melts.
  • Let cool for a few minutes, garnish with parsley or green onions, and serve warm.
