  • For the Steak:
  • 1 lb steak medallions
  • Salt and pepper
  • 2 tbsp olive oil or butter
  • ½ cup gorgonzola cheese
  • For the Alfredo Sauce:
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese
  • For Serving:
  • 12 oz pasta
  • Fresh parsley

  • Medium saucepan
  • Tongs
  • Whisk
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Cutting board and knife

Method
 

  1. Cook pasta; drain and set aside.
  2. Season and sear steak medallions; set aside.
  3. Make Alfredo sauce by melting butter, adding garlic, and whisking in cream and Parmesan.
  4. Top steak with gorgonzola cheese and cover to melt.
  5. Toss pasta with Alfredo sauce, plate, and top with steak.
  6. Garnish and serve warm.
