- Brown ground beef in a skillet. Drain and add to the slow cooker.
- Add tomatoes, tomato sauce, broth, Italian seasoning, and garlic. Stir and cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
- About 30 minutes before serving, add broken lasagna noodles to the slow cooker.
- Stir in mozzarella cheese before serving. Top each bowl with a spoonful of ricotta, if desired.
