This Swiss Chicken Casserole is the ultimate comfort food. With tender chicken breasts layered in a creamy sauce, topped with melted Swiss cheese and a crispy, golden breadcrumb topping, this dish brings cozy flavors together in the best way.

Equipment

  • Baking dish (9x13 inch works well)
  • Mixing bowls

Ingredients
  

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1 can 10.5 oz cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup sour cream or Greek yogurt
  • 4 slices Swiss cheese or 1 cup shredded
  • 1 cup stuffing mix or bread crumbs
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter melted

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 baking dish.
  • Place chicken in dish, season with salt, pepper, garlic, and onion powder.
  • In a bowl, mix cream of chicken soup and sour cream until smooth. Pour over chicken.
  • Layer Swiss cheese slices over the sauce.
  • In another bowl, combine stuffing mix with melted butter and sprinkle over cheese.
  • Bake for 35–40 minutes until chicken is cooked, cheese is melted, and topping is golden brown.
